Status update: Mixero 0.51.6 and future Facebook integration

What’s new in Mixero desktop 0.51.6

Custom Twitter API URL support

There were many request for such a feature. Now It’s possible to set your own server/proxy URL for talking to Twitter API. The setting is in the OptionsOptions/Twitter API screen:

apiproxy

Other changes and fixes

  • Fixed adding users to contacts when they are already followed on Twitter
  • External windows can be [almost] of any size now.
  • Worked around the old nasty strange bug when popup windows opened not over, but under the main window. That was the cause of “Can’t open Update/DM/Options window”-like bugs
  • Fixed default group icon not assigned.
  • Many performance-related and other fixes.

We are doing our best to make Mixero more stable and resource-efficient. Don’t hesitate to contact us when you find CPU- or memory-hungry pattern. We are always grateful for your feedback.

Facebook integration — really soon!

Some wishes/suggestions from my side: :)

    - Hide tray icon when minimized
    - Add custom/own url shortener (API? Webservice?)
    - Enable moving Mixero App when the window is in Avatar Mode
    - Icon/Button to mark single tweets as Read (or context menu entry)
    - Show unread tweets count in Avatar mode
    - Option to show channels in Av. mode only when they’ve unread items
    - private notes for user profiles
    - Support for German umlauts in Hashtags (Twitter does it also)
    - combine same tweets when Mixero is in the mixed mode
    - Mixed Mode: Accounts are sometimes mixed up

    Best regards,
    Denis

API proxy support is very important for Chinese, Because China Government block twitter.

  5. I have heard Aveda is a good one. I think you can find an aveda salon to have it done. You have a reason to be concerned some hair dye sold at grocery and drug stores is carcinogenic.

  6. Incredible, that’s just what I was hunting for! You just saved me alot of work
