Avatars mode became one of the most popular features in Mixero. But it really needed some control. Though it is still possible to minimize Mixero to avatars mode automatically now you can also manage this manually. 
In 0.43 you are in control. Notice that small blue Mixero windmill? Hover your mouse above, focus-pocus, it’s now green and spinning – click on it and the Avatars Mode is turned on. To turn it off just click the windmill again. You can also use the windmill to return from Avatars Mode when mixero got into it automatically.
Many of you asked us not to overuse our motto and add some noise when something important happens. In this release we included some sounds that can be used when you receive a reply, a direct message and when you send an update/message. Sounds are customizable in options; you can turn them on/off individually or altogether.
The “Reply to all” button is now available on tweets that mention several people. Also, #hashtags from the message replied are now copied to the new tweet. We fixed issue with “Refresh” button missing in the external windows. Several other small problems are also fixed.

i am waiting for iphone app release .. can we have any demo or pre release set.
Being able to trigger Avatar mode is great, but the right side of the screen is terrible for my desktop layout — it puts it right in the MIDDLE of my multimon setup, on top of what I’m working on. How about some control over where Avatar mode goes?
WHEN is iPhone app out? Off to Tweetdeck for the same grouping functionality…sorry. Tried to wait.
Any news!? I’m using Mixero and I think it’s the best twitter client available.

The group function is really nice, but I am missing a tagging function. It would be nice to tag the friends. It also would be nice to be able to choose two groups and see only the friends who are in both groups.
Been using Mixero a couple hours and i’m diggin it but it’s missing an extremely important feature… multiple account support. Gotta have it.

Is growl support yet implemented? That’s what I am missing in all Twitter-Clients I tested…
Would be great, especially if the growl info shows the whole tweet + profile pic, and a click on the growl message brings the Mixero window to the front, but a click on a link inside the tweet simply opens it in the browser.
